Charlotte Flair discusses WrestleMania bout with Ronda Rousey and Becky Lynch – EXCLUSIVE

Rumours suggest Charlotte, Lynch and Rousey will become the first ever women to headline WrestleMania in a Triple Threat Match on April 7 at the MetLife Stadium in New York.

The Queen is very keen to make history with the other two WWE superstars and is confident that this bout would have an enormous impact in the world of wrestling.

The seven-time women’s champion also believes that this sort of historic event would inspire children around the world once they see three women headlining the biggest wrestling show in a male-dominated world.

Charlotte exclusively told Express Sport: “I think it definitely would impact the world of wrestling but bigger than that is the message to kids around the world that they can do anything they set their mind to.

“I think that’s what’s so important.

“That you have three females at the main event of the biggest show on the grandest stage in a male-dominated world.

“People thought that would never happen.

“I think that’s the bigger message.

“I think it will definitely impact the rest of the world and definitely change the game and make history.

“[It will prove] That the women are just as powerful and capable as the men.”

Charlotte has been feuding with Lynch since last summer and also got embroiled into a rivalry with Rousey after their match at Survivor Series.

The ex-SmackDown Women’s Champion replaced The Man who was sidelined after suffering a broken nose and a concussion at the hands of Nia Jax.

The former RAW Women’s Champion got herself intentionally disqualified after bludgeoning the UFC legend with a kendo stick and a steel chair.

‘Rowdy’ got revenge from both her rivals at TLC when she knocked them off the top of a ladder during a Triple Threat Tables, Ladders and Chairs Match, which also involved Asuka.

That allowed The Empress of Tomorrow to retrieve the belt while The Queen and The Irish Lass Kicker were lying at ringside.
