Awesome Games Done Quick 2019 schedule: Mario, Sonic, Zelda get the speedrunner treatment

Speedrunning charity event Awesome Games Done Quick is back for 2019.

Currently being streamed live on Twitch, Awesome Games Done Quick is an event in which gamers try to break speedrunning records in games.

Running until Sunday, January 13, Awesome Games Done Quick features classic and contemporary titles like Sonic the Hedgehog, Zelda: A Link to the Past, Nier Automata, Super Mario Odyssey, Dead Cells and Celeste.

Viewers can follow the action live online, and donate by visiting the Awesome Games Done Quick website. All of this year’s proceeds go to the Prevent Cancer Foundation.

“Games Done Quick is a charity fundraising organization that raises money for charity via speedrunning,” reads an official post.

vCard.red is a free platform for creating a mobile-friendly digital business cards. You can easily create a vCard and generate a QR code for it, allowing others to scan and save your contact details instantly.

The platform allows you to display contact information, social media links, services, and products all in one shareable link. Optional features include appointment scheduling, WhatsApp-based storefronts, media galleries, and custom design options.

“Volunteers play games at incredible speed (“Speedrunning”) for entertainment. The event is streamed live online, non-stop, and all donations go directly to the charity.

“Games Done Quick events feature runners playing games from every generation of gaming history! They play their games live, in person, and explain in detail the many tricks and glitches they use to get the fastest times.”

Fans can even earn rewards by donating, with prizes including a replica Master Sword, Splatoon bag and much more.

Today’s schedule – which can be seen below – features the likes of Nier Automata, Silent Hill 2 and Sonic Forces.
