The 53-year-old Good Morning Britain broadcaster first caused controversy on the ITV programme last year when he blasted their empowering cover for their single Strip, which saw the four-piece pose naked with slurs and insults written on their bodies. Now, he has hit back after Jade Thirwall, 26, seemed uninterested in fuelling the fued with Piers Morgan when asked about the drama in a recent interview. Speaking about the coverage which followed his initial rant, Jade told The Guardian: “What was amazing, actually, is that we haven’t had to say much, as women have rallied together and defended us. I don’t want to dwell too much on it, and he doesn’t deserve a line on it because he’s obviously loving it,” she added.
Taking to Twitter to address the Little Mix singer’s remark, Piers wrote in view of his 6.5 million followers: “I can’t hang out with those foul-mouthed, talentless, clothes-allergic little dimwits? Gutted.”
Piers previously criticised the cover image for Strip, saying on Good Morning Britain: “What is empowering about this?
“Get your kit off, airbrush yourselves to within an inch of your lives. What’s the point of it? Using nudity to sell their album,” he added.
Little Mix singer Jesy Nelson, 27, went on to brand Piers a “silly t**t”, after which he demanded an apology.

“I apologise to anyone who is offended by the language Little Mix used about me.
“Little Mix, I think you need to make a public apology during your campaign to root out bad language from public discourse.”
Meanwhile, Jade opened up on the “drama” which has surrounded the pop band on the promotional trail of their fifth album, LM5.
“We’re not used to being dragged into all these drama,” she told The Guardian. “We’re getting it from all angles at the minute.”
Little Mix have recently been embroiled in a spat between Nicki Minaj, 36, and Cardi B, 26, and left Simon Cowell’s record label Syco.
Elsewhere, Jesy played a prank on Kiss FM yesterday when the band appeared on Tom Green’s show, joking she was expecting.
“Congratulations on the new album,” he said, to which she replied: “Thanks. I thought you were going to say, ‘Congratulations on the baby’ then.
“No seriously, I’m pregnant,” she added, when the DJ laughed uncertainly.
“Are you?” he asked, as she insisted she was and her Little Mix co-stars clapped, all in on the joke.
“Are you joking?” he said, before the band gave it away. “Oh my god, I 100 per cent bought that.”
