Man Utd hero Gary Neville reveals problem he has with Paul Pogba

“Everyone always concentrates on Paul Pogba,” Neville said.

“I only have one problem with Paul Pogba and that was his post, which I think disrespected Jose Mourinho in losing his job.

“We know it didn’t come from the club, we know it didn’t come from adidas, we know it came from Paul Pogba, so my view personally is that was a massive disappointment to disrespect somebody that’s lost their job.”

Pogba, who earns a reported £300,000 a week, had a , which saw the World Cup winner lose his vice captaincy because of his outbursts.

Neville, who is now a pundit for Sky Sports, called for United to take their time over appointing a new boss.

The Red Devils made the decision to bring in former United cult hero Ole Gunnar Solskjaer to guide the club until to the end of the season.

The Norwegian, who previous managing positions are Cardiff City and Molde, has made an impressive start to his second Premier League appointment.

United have won their first four games under Solskjaer and have scored 13 goals in a more attacking tactical approach.

And Pogba’s form has also seen a dramatic turnaround since the departure of Mourinho.

The France international has four goals and three assists in Solskjaer’s first four games, and he was named United’s Player of the Month for December.

The change in Pogba’s form has been noticed by Neville, who suggests the club need to now move on from what has happened in the past.

“I’ve always said that are a far better team with him in it,” Neville said.

“There is a line that needs to be drawn, perhaps you forget everything that’s happened in the past.

“However, all is forgiven because you move on in football but the fact of the matter is that he’s now performing how he should be, and that is a massive plus for United because he is a big player.”

United have moved to within three points fifth placed Arsenal after their 1-0 victory over Newcastle on Wednesday.

Their next opponent is Reading in the FA Cup on Saturday.
