The Moon in Sagittarius is joined by the planet Jupiter today and the two celestial bodies are in conjunction. In astrology, a conjunction is a zero-degree angle between two planets, which is said to mix and blend their energies together. Conjunctions are a major astrological aspect and most astrologers agree it is the most powerful combination on the horoscope charts. Today’s conjunction between the Moon and Jupiter is amplified by the fact Jupiter is Sagittarius’ ruling planet.
According to astrologer Marina of MarStars Astrology Insights, this results in a “fantastic combination” dominating the heavens.
The astrologer said: “They’re both in Sagittarius – a very strong position for Jupiter, which completely dominates the conjunction.
“So, today we may feel much happier, today we may feel more optimistic, we may feel focused on the future or excited about the future.
“It’s a wonderful time for some adventures, for some experiments, for learning new things and also if you haven’t planned your year or you may made your New Year’s resolutions, you still have time to catch up on that.”

Together with Leo and Aries, Sagittarius forms the so-called Fire Trigon of horoscope signs.
Sagittarius is considered a mutable sign in the ninth zodiacal position, where it exemplifies freedom, generosity and a sense of humour.
People born under the strong influence of Sagittarius are said to cherish philosophy, travel and spending time outdoors.
On the other hand, Sagittarius may suffer from impatience, speaking out of turn and has a tendency to promise more than it can realistically deliver.
However, because of its association with the archer, Sagittarius is said to never miss the mark.
Marina believes this will manifest itself in whatever endeavours you undertake today.
She said: “The day is fantastic, so whatever you do or whatever you start, might be more successful, might be more inspiring and exciting and can bring you wisdom.
