Bob’s cause of death is yet to be confirmed, however TMZ reported he died following a recent cancer diagnosis.
Since the news of his death, many of his showbiz friends have fans flocked to Twitter to pay a tribute.
Bob’s Curb Your Enthusiasm co-star Richard Lewis tweeted: “I’m in shock. I knew him forever.
“His role on #curbyourenthusiasm was excruciatingly brilliant!
“Our cast and crew will be devastated. He was so loved. He told me how much he loved LD and Curb. RIP buddy.”

Bob, real name Stewart, appeared in over 20 episodes of Curb Your Enthusiasm rom 2004 until the most recent series in 2017.
He was also behind the comedy character Super Dave Osborne, an optimistic stuntman.
During his career, he also worked on The Sonny and Cher Comedy Hour, Van Dyke and Company and The Sonny Comedy Revue.
In 2009, the award-winning actor reprised Super Dave in Super Dave’s Spike Tacular.
Bob began his career as a writer in the 1960s.
He later won an Emmy award for his inout in the team behind The Smothers Brothers Comedy Hour.
Bob is the son of Harry Einstein best known for playing comedy character Parkyakarkus.
His mother was also an actress and a singer.
