Rachel Riley ditched her elegant Countdown attire for something a lot more festive last week as she shared a snap from Goa, India. The presenter, who has been a favourite on the Channel 4 show since 2009, revealed just how she was spending her Christmas Day in view of her 328,000 Instagram followers. Standing in front of a very sunny backdrop, the 32-year-old’s endless pins and novelty attire took centre-stage in one of the photos. Wearing her blonde tresses up, the TV star kept her dark sunglasses on as she posed playfully next to a signpost.
Revealing she was 7,592km from London, Rachel beamed at the camera in her thigh-skimming attire.
She chose a pair of patterned shorts and metallic sandals for the snap, which featured tropical gardens and plenty of palm trees in the background.
The stunner teamed her loose-fitting bottoms with a very Christmassy T-shirt, complete with a picture of Father Christmas.
It read playfully: “Santa is a Man Utd fan,” which, as many will know, is also her much-loved football team.

She was soon inundated with comments, with one user replying: “Nice idea spending Christmas in the sunshine. Snow is overrated.”
Two others continued: “Have a great Christmas and New year,” and: “I’ve only been back a few weeks. Love that place so much #feelslikehome.”
Hours later, Rachel uploaded a video of Santa Claus paragliding, with him waving to the crowds below.
“No reindeer in Goa, Santa had to make do! #parasailing #santa #beachchristmas #india,” she stated.
Two days later her attention turned to safari, however she didn’t appear to have had much luck.
She wrote: “Tiger footprints. Tigers, we’ll find you tomorrow! #tigers #india #kanha #safari #wildlife #conservation.”
Meanwhile, Rachel made sure not to forget a family member, once again referencing her beloved Manchester United.
She added: “My old man, said be a United fan, be a United fan, be a United fan… HAPPY BIRTHDAY DAD!!! Glad Sir Alex has come back for your bday present! Up the reds!”(sic)
