Rachel Riley, 32, first met boyfriend Pasha Kovalev, 38, in 2013 after they were partnered up on Strictly Come Dancing together.
The next year, the couple announced they were together, following Rachel’s split from husband Jamie Gilbert.
And now the Countdown mathematician is keen to find out more about her boyfriend Pasha’s family history.
Rachel admitted she is desperate to go on the BBC genealogy show Who Do You Think You Are? after finding out she and Pasha have a very interesting link.
The star revealed she once did a DNA ancestry swab with her beau where they found out their families once lived close to one another.

She told the Mirror: “My mum’s side are Eastern European Jews so a couple of years ago Pasha bought us both the ancestry DNA swabs to see where you go back to.
“We both did it and our families are from four hours away in the Ukraine originally.”
Rachel confirmed they are “not cousins” but was interested to find out their family history.
“Mine are Jewish, there’s no genetic link, we’re not cousins, but I think a lot of Jews don’t really know where they come from,” she said.
Rachel added: “Pasha knew where his family were from and I vaguely had an idea but it’s a bit of history I want to know more about.”
Meanwhile, Rachel has been spending the festive season abroad with her beau in India.
The beauty uploaded a picture from one of her days out with Pasha where they went to try and find Tigers.
But Rachel revealed they were unlucky and had only spotted Tiger footprints in Kanha National Park.

In another holiday snap, Rachel could be seen standing next to signs which revealed how far away home was.
Rachel appeared to be enjoying soaking up the sun as the massive grin on her face was impossible to miss.
The star wore a top which read: “Santa is a Man Utd fan,” which she teamed with a pair of summery shorts.
Rachel wrote beside the image: “Merry Christmas!!!!! 7592km away from Blighty but thinking of everyone at home.
“Lots of love folks, I hope you and yours have a great day xxxx.”
