Weight loss is a journey many people go on, with exercise and a healthy balanced diet often coming widely recommended by experts. While diet plans which promise visible results “fast” is something plenty of slimmers seek, a quick fix can leave some soon ditching their healthier lifestyle altogether. So, following all your hard work to get that healthy frame, how should you maintain your weight loss goals? Kelly Brook recently lost 15 pounds in weight, and has shared some words of advice.
As well as losing weight, Kelly has also shrunk from a size 16 to a size 12, as well as dropping four inches from her hips.
Speaking exclusively to Express.co.uk, the 39-year-old addressed how crash dieting could mean you actually end up piling the pounds back on.
Likening her weight loss journey to the controlled descent of an aeroplane onto a runway, she insisted that losing weight gradually was the key.
She said: “I see weight loss like landing a plane, you don’t crash land. You want to do it gradually.

“That’s the best way to maintain weight loss, I think.”
She went on to explain that while she has already lost 15 pounds in weight and dropped two dress sizes in around four months, she planned to continue with her current lifestyle plan.
Explaining that she wanted to lose one more dress size by February, she said of what would be around a six-month weight loss journey: “I think that’s a healthy way to lose weight.”
Having teamed up with SlimFast, Kelly has been using the SlimFast Advanced Vitality 4 in 1 Action capsules and sachets during her weight loss journey.
She said: “It reduces sugar consumption and fat absorption, and more than anything it stops me wanting to overeat – which is what I was doing for a long time.
“I was just piling on the pounds gradually to the point where I got to the top end of my BMI.”
Kelly went on to explain how she had also been working out and opting for healthy meals in order to shift the pounds.
Shedding some light on her training routine, the star explained she had been taking 45 minutes out of her day to run either outdoors or on a treadmill between three or four times a week.
The star, and her boyfriend Jeremy Parisi, 38, also changed what – and how much – they were eating at mealtimes.
Revealing portion sizes had been a problem for her in the past, she told Express.co.uk: “I’d cook like a lasagne, but I wouldn’t just have a bit, I’d cook a tray.
“So Jeremy and I could easily finish a tray of lasagne in a couple of days. Whereas now, we wouldn’t do that.
“I wouldn’t cook in bulk like that, because I know we’re not going to get through it.”
Reflecting on how she had felt fuller since working with SlimFast, she said: “I start eating and then halfway through my meal I’ll be like, ‘I can’t finish it’.
“I couldn’t finish a meal having [the SlimFast sachets] so that was really interesting because usually I would eat and I’d want seconds, and dessert, and everything else. And the bread basket. It would be beyond!”
So, just what has the presenter and model been eating in order to get trim?
Kelly explained that her go-to meals these days would be more like yoghurt with fruit, nuts, and honey for breakfast, a salad for lunch, and fish for dinner.
