
Christmas has passed and Britons may need to head out for some additional eggnog and mince pies. But before you head out to get your groceries it is essential to first find out when the stores open. Here’s a guide to Tesco, Asda and Morrisons’ opening hours.
Tesco
Tesco’s Extras, Superstores and Metro stores will be open from 9am to 6pm in England, Wales and Scotland.
In Northern Ireland Tesco’s Extras, Superstores and Metro stores open from 10am to 6pm.
All Tesco Express stores will also be open from 8am to 10pm everywhere in the UK.
And in addition, all petrol stations will open 8am to 7pm.

Asda
Asda has not revealed any specific changes to their opening hours this Boxing Day, so each store may vary.
It is thought opening hours will be slightly reduced but the supermarket will still keep its doors open today.

Morrisons
Morrisons opening times have been restricted over Christmas, however, stores will open again today.
The supermarket has revealed its opening hours for supermarkets, cafes and petrol stations in England and Wales.
All stores will open their doors at 9am and close at 6pm.
In addition, Morrisons’ cafe will stay open from 9am to 3pm.
Petrol stations are also open from 8am to 8pm.
