Strictly Come Dancing 2018 professional Dianne Buswell, 29, split from Emmerdale actor Anthony Quinlan, 33, earlier in the series, weeks before she and Joe Sugg, 27, confirmed their romance. Fellow dancer Kieran McMahon, 26, who counts himself as a close pal of the Australian-born beauty, addressed speculation about the so-called Strictly ’curse’, saying: “People need to get over it because nobody has been hurt.” He called Dianne a “naturally flirty person”, saying it was “hardly surprising” she and Joe got close dancing together on the BBC show. “I could tell from their chemistry when they danced that something more may have been going on,” he explained.
Saying the Strictly favourite seemed “genuinely happy” with her new YouTube star beau, Kieran told The Sun: “He seems like a great guy who really understands her.
“Now that Dianne is moving on from what’s happened in the past, I think everyone else needs to as well.”
However, he claimed Dianne hasn’t always had the best love interests.
“Dianne’s had some shockers of boyfriends in the past,” he said.

Not seeming to lump him in with her “shocker” ex-boyfriends, Kieran went on to speak out about Dianne’s previous beau Anthony, saying: “She never spoke much about Anthony except from the times I asked — clearly it didn’t last and there’s nothing more to it.
“When it comes to relationships, she’s all in or nothing,” he added.
Anthony told the publication: “We split up a whole back and I have moved on. There’s nothing more to say.”

Dianne and Anthony were together off and on for 10 months and split in October.
A representative for the dancer put the break-up down to their “busy schedules” and said they were still good friends, while Anthony told the Daily Star: “We’re still really good friends — it’s just distance played a part.
“There were all these rumours about the Strictly ‘curse’ but it wasn’t that,” he insisted.
The Pete Barton star also said he was “rooting” for Joe and Dianne on Strictly, adding: “I still think the world of the girl.”
Joe and Dianne confirmed their romance shortly after the Strictly final, with the social media star sharing a loved-up picture with his 5.8 million Instagram followers which showed them gazing into each other’s eyes.
“I may not have won the Glitterball, but I’ve won something a million times more special,” he said.
Since then, the couple enjoyed a romantic getaway to a lavish treehouse pad with his famous sister Zoe Sugg, 28, AKA Zoella, and her boyfriend Alfie Deyes, 25.
Dianne has now jetted off home to Australia to spend Christmas with her family, while Joe is enjoying the festive period in the UK with his loved ones.
Yesterday, she uploaded a sweet shot of the pair of them together on a bench in a forest in view of her 525,000 Instagram followers, writing: “When I was sat on Santa Suggs’ lap he asked me what I wanted for Christmas.
“My response was (apart from a Tamagotchi) I have everything that makes me happy already.
“I honestly feel so so lucky I’m in Australia with the best family a girl could wish for… and I have a very special somebody waiting for me when I return to the UK @joesugg,” she gushed.
