For one, in January of 2009 they had originally planned on releasing this game in early 2010 but the date got pushed back. This is common in the gaming world so nothing really new here. Then the Australian Ratings Board revealed that Ubisoft had registered the name Ghost Recon: Predator, so everyone thought that was the new name for the next title. A discovery in December of 2009 although revealed that the name Future Soldier had been registered by Ubisoft. In January of 2010 the company finally confirmed that indeed Future Soldier would be the official name of the next in line game of this addicting series.

What does this new game bring to the Tom Clancy collection? Well basically you are a new breed of soldier. Described as an "F-16 on legs" by the creators, you are armed to the teeth with all of the latest weaponry. You are an elite GR member who posses the power, adaptability, and the cognitive fortitude of the future soldier. So of course they give such a soldier the missions no one else can handle. In the game trailer , you can see one of the coolest features you possess is the ability to cloak and blend in to the environment around you. Other features include Multi-player of course, and several options built in to the multi-player aspect of the game.

As you may have heard, Ubisoft is releasing a multi-player beta of Ghost Recon: Future Soldier in the summer of 2010 off the Splinter Cell: Conviction just released game. This beta will be playable only on the Xbox 360, and basically you can go download the beta off of this Splinter Cell game once the link is unleashed. You only need the Conviction game to get the link, once you download the beta you no longer need that game so if you know someone who just bought that game just borrow it, and hand it back once it's done. The beta has a ton of fans surrounding it awaiting the release so it's going to be crowed out there Ghost fans. See you on the beta this summer!
