Danny Dyer: ‘It was baffling’ EastEnders star leaves fans disappointed in Christmas show

EastEnders actor Danny Dyer, 41, stars as Hollywood producer Lewis Parker in the festive show, but a source has claimed he only appeared in the two-hour production for 13 minutes. The Albert Square favourite stars in the show alongside his daughter and Love Island winner Dani Dyer, 22, with tickets costing up to £120. An audience member told The Sun: “It was a bit baffling that Danny wasn’t in the final song considering his daughter was. “For the expensive ticket price, there was definitely an expectation amongst the crowd of seeing a bit more of the man himself.”

Danny featured heavily in adverts to promote the show, which tells the story of a teacher who promises his primary school pupils he’ll get a producer to see their nativity.

Express.co.uk has contacted a representative for Danny Dyer for comment.

Elsewhere, Dani admitted she was “scared” to perform in the show at the Eventim Apollo as her boyfriend Jack Fincham, 26, was in the audience with her mum on Thursday night.

Taking to her Twitter with 318,000 followers, she commented: “Why is it when you know your boyfriend is going to be in the audience tonight you get even more scared?”
