Susan Boyle was spotted with a female companion in Blackburn, West Lothian, where she stood out from the crowd in a bright look. The Britain’s Got Talent runner-up was seen carrying a number of bags, just weeks after she performed on stage once again. The 57-year-old, who has been keeping fans updated on her Instagram page, looked happy and relaxed as she chatted away. The hitmaker was wrapped up for the cold weather up north in a pink waterproof jacket, which featured a white trim and striped detailing.
She teamed her bold coat with a lengthy black skirt, a pale blouse and a matching knitted scarf.
Susan polished off her attire with black shoes and a coordinated across body bag, while clutching her groceries.
It comes just hours after the singer’s team seemingly updated her 8,629 followers on the picture-sharing app.
The message read: “Christmas is one of Susan’s favourite times of year. Are you all enjoying the festive build up to Christmas?!”
The accompanying snap saw her beaming at the camera in a promotional shot, wearing a chunky grey top.
She wore it with a fluffy cream hat and scarf, which came complete with sparkly embellishment.
Susan’s profile last week shared a quote from her, revealing how she got into her career path away from the ITV competition.
The caption stated: “It was my Mum who got me into singing properly – she knew I had to do something with my voice because she knew I was talented.
“She was the one who pushed me into joining a choir all those years ago, when I was about 12.
“I remember she told me to start with the choir and just see where it took me.”
Meanwhile, the big news came on December 7, when it was confirmed Susan would be turning to TV.
The announcement said: “Susan is so excited to announce that she will be competing on @AGT The Champions in the New Year!
“Tune In on Monday 7th January at 8/7c on NBC! #AGTChampions.”
The programme will see notable contestants from AGT as well as the Got Talent franchises return.
Others BGT stars taking part are sword swallower Alex Magala, Ashleigh and Sully, and shadow theatre group Attraction as well as 10 more including Susan.
Mel B, Heidi Klum and Howie Mandel will act as judges, while Terry Crews will be hosting.
