Rachel Riley, 31, has been giving her Twitter fans an update on her day at Gatwick airport, after it was closed due to drones flying in the area.
The army have now been sent in to help the situation, which has seen 110,000 passengers have their travel plans thrown into chaos.
Rachel revealed she had been stuck at the UK’s second biggest airport since 7.30am this morning.
Since spending the whole day at Gatwick, the Countdown star told her 602,000 Twitter followers she had been sent home and her flight was to be rescheduled for two days time.
She wore online: “Flight rescheduled for 2 days time.”

Earlier in the day, Rachel expressed her frustration online at the lack of communication passengers had received.
She began her tweets: “Stuck at @Gatwick_Airport since 7.30am, for the first time today @ThomasCookUK Airlines are about to give us some info.
“There’s been more info from @BBCNews than we’ve got here. Lots of frustrated people here. Less than impressed.”
She followed her post with: “They’ve finally given us some info. At least know we all know what’s going on now.
“Hope everyone gets to where they want to be for Christmas. @ThomasCookUK could’ve done a lot better communicating. Drones can’t be helped, keeping people up to date could have.”
The beauty then said they had been told to go back home, whilst the situation still unravelled.
“Everyone sent home,” she commented.
“No news of if or when we’ll be rebooked. Good luck to all the families trying to get away for Christmas. @ThomasCookUK #GatwickDrones.”
The government have temporarily lifted the night-flying restrictions at other airports in the London area to ease the disruption at Gatwick.
Transport Secretary Chris Grayling told the BBC ministers are “doing everything we can with other airports to make arrangements to get passengers incoming back in the UK but also to give passengers a chance to get out of the UK as quickly as possible”.
Two drones were first spotted being flown inside the West Sussex airport’s perimeter at 9pm last night.
Superintendent Justin Burtenshaw of Sussex Police said: “We believe this to be a deliberate act to disrupt the airport.
“However, there are absolutely no indications to suggest this is terror related.”
