Earlier this month the Avengers 4 trailer was launched by Marvel Studios, one that revealed the title as Endgame. While this is clearly linked to a line by Doctor Strange in Avengers Infinity War, it’s also a word that comes up in Avengers Age of Ultron. And now one theorist reckons a scene from that movie has foreshadowed how Avengers Endgame will end. Reddit user dafsjgf quoted the dialogue from the second Avengers movie.
They wrote: “Tony: ‘A hostile alien army came charging through a hole in space.
“‘We’re standing 300 feet below it. We’re the Avengers.
“‘We can bust arms dealers all the livelong day but that up there, that’s… that’s the endgame. How were you guys planning on beating that?’”
“Steve: ‘Together.’”

They added: “Tony: ‘We’ll lose.’
“Steve: ‘Then we’ll do that together too.’”
Before predicting: “Seems like a bit of foreshadowing…these two might die at the end of Avengers: Endgame.”
It’s long been rumoured that some of the surviving Avengers will have to die to resurrect those who died in Infinity War.
However, our best bet is that Tony will die, not Captain America.
After all, to obtain the Soul Stone again on Vormir someone will have to sacrifice someone they love.
How fitting would it be for Tony to offer himself for Steve to push, after everything they’ve been through since Civil War?
Avengers Endgame will be released on April 26, 2019.
