Strictly Come Dancing 2018 star AJ Pritchard, 23, enjoyed an evening out with Mollie King, 31, at Winter Wonderland, while Lauren Steadman, 26, celebrated her birthday with her family. The professional dancer gave his 319,000 social media fans an insight into his evening out on Instagram. He shared a snap of him and Mollie alongside a Strictly Come Dancing videographer and a female companion. The quartet seemed in high spirits as they beamed for the cameras wearing cosy attire.
AJ uploaded the picture with the simple caption: “#winterwonderland.”
He also shared a snap of the duo enjoying drinks at an indoor venue.
Elsewhere, AJ’s dance partner Lauren celebrated her 26th birthday with her family.
Lauren shared a snap of her alongside her dad and sister Ellie from the H10 hotel in Waterloo.
In view of her 69,000 followers, she commented: “Perfect way to end my birthday @ellensteadman.”
The British paralympian also thanked a friend of hers for making her a Glitterball-themed birthday cake.
She wrote: “Thank you to @camifontalvo for organising me such a beautiful birthday dinner Te Amo Chica… it is not what we have in life but who we have!
“Thank you to everyone who came along and special mention to Heather for my Glitterball cake.”
Earlier this week, AJ gushed over Lauren as he reflected on their Strictly experience together.
He shared a picture of the pair in action on the dance floor with the caption: “Just Overwhelmed, Thank you for all your love & support over this series, because without you our journey wouldn’t have been possible & what a journey Xx @laurensteadmann @bbcstrictly.”
Last month, AJ said he was “protective” of Lauren as he revealed the pair had grown close.
He told The Mirror: “I am very protective of Lauren because we have worked so closely together.
“There are different things that she will talk about in training that she would never talk about on camera.
“It’s for that reason that we have grown so close together and we will be friends for life and who knows in the future.
“You never know what is going to happen.”
Lauren also gushed over AJ in a recent interview with the Telegraph’s Talking Strictly podcast, saying his smile was all she saw when dancing on the show.
The brunette beauty was asked if she notices the crowd when performing, to which she replied: “All I see is AJ’s smile.”
Taken back by the comment, AJ replied: “Oh cheeky, I like that one – I’ll take that.”
