The 27-year-old YouTube star and his 29-year-old Strictly Come Dancing 2018 professional girlfriend were first said to be more than friends earlier in the series. Joe Sugg’s grandmother Phyllis Sugg, who cheered them on at Blackpool last month, opened up about the partnership, saying: “I may be 95 but I could see that twinkle in his eye — and the way they looked at each other. He brought Dianne over to meet me too and that’s a sign that there is romance in the air,” she told the MailOnline.
Phyllis added: “She seemed like a lovely girl — I think he might be head over heels.”
Joe and Dianne went public with their relationship on Monday after competing in the Strictly final at the weekend.
The social media star shared a sweet snap with his 5.8 million Instagram followers which showed them gazing into each other’s eyes whilst posing with their arms around each other.
“I may not have won the Glitterball, but I’ve won something a million times more special,” he captioned the upload.

The night before, they joined a group of Joe’s friend for a night out, uploading clips singing karaoke.
Joe and Dianne lost out on the Glitterball trophy to Strictly champions Stacey and her professional partner Kevin Clifton, 36.
Despite being bottom of the leaderboard, the duo were crowned the winners by the voting public, having been bookies’ hot favourites for the title for many weeks.
Earlier this year, a source exclusively told Express.co.uk Joe and Dianne were “100 per cent in a relationship”.
However, at the time, a representative for the Strictly contestant denied the claim.
The romantic shot which Joe chose to confirm their romance showed the pair looking loved-up at the Pride of Britain Awards 2018 in October.
They were pictured leaving the star-studded event together.
