Joe Sugg, 27 and Dianne Buswell, 29, were partnered together on the hit BBC show Strictly Come Dancing 2018 and now former finalist Debbie McGee has addressed their romance. Speaking on the Telegraph’s Strictly podcast, co-host Jess McAree asked whether the blossoming romance will survive the Strictly tour. Jess asked: “The question for me is will Joe and Dianne the item survive the tour? ”Debbie McGee replied: “I think it will survive the tour,” as former contestant Dr Ranj agreed with the former magician’s assistant.
He added: “Well they have been spending a lot of time together already. So it will be a continuation.”
The Strictly Come Dancing live tour runs from January until February 2019.
Meanwhile, it appears Joe Sugg’s family member got a hint of their relationship prior to it being made official.
The YouTube sensation’s grandmother, Phyllis Sugg, who cheered the dancing duo on at Blackpool last month opened up about about their partnership according to the MailOnline.
Phyllis told the publication: “I may be 95 but I could see that twinkle in his eye — and the way they looked at each other.
“He brought Dianne over to meet me too and that’s a sign that there is romance in the air.”
Phyllis added: “She seemed like a lovely girl — I think he might be head over heels.”
Joe seemed to confirmed their romance with a sweet snap on Instagram on Sunday night.
The photo shows Joe and Dianne holding one another as they look into each other’s eyes.
The post has received over one million likes on social media followed by hundreds of comments from Joe’s 5.8 million Instagram followers.
Joe captioned the post: “I may not have won the Glitterball, but I’ve won something a million times more special.”
The pair’s Strictly co-stars were delighted with the announcement with Dr Ranj Singh, 39, Stacey Dooley, 31, and Katie Piper, 35, all commenting with heart emojis.
“Oh my! So happy for you two,” Tess Daly, 49, wrote, while Neil Jones, 35, quipped: “Yes you did.”
Meanwhile, the pair seemed to have escaped on a getaway as Dianne took to Instagram and shared an short clip of an open fire and breakfast in bed.
She captioned the post: “Good morning,” from her bed which looked out onto a wooden deck and woodlands in the background.
Another clip showed the pair wearing matching wellington boots as Joe attempted the Charleston dance.
Dianne wrote: “Still practising,” on the post.
