Israel’s CHILLING WARNING: Missiles can strike ANY target in Middle East – Netanyahu

Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said his defence team was working on a weapons system with “special capabilities that no other country has” and able to “reach anywhere in the area”. During a visit to a state-owned defence contractor Israel Aerospace Industries, Mr Netanyahu said: “They are developing offensive missiles here that can reach any place in the region and any target. This is an offensive force that belongs to the State of Israel and is relevant for all of our different fronts.

“There is a group of minds and people here who develop the best of the defences needed for the State of Israel

“They are developing weapons systems here with special capabilities that no other country has.

“This includes micro satellites that are fired into space and some missiles that you see here behind me.

“Space is a huge field that the State of Israel is entering.”

When quizzed over reports the US was blocking Israel’s sale of 12 F-16 C/D Barak fighter jets to Croatia, he replied: “This is ongoing between the countries, and I have dealt with this personally.

“It is too early to say anything clear about this. We are working on this.”

It comes after reports suggested Washington warned it would block the $500million deal because it was not approved by the US before signed.

Mr Netanyahu discussed the issued with US Secretary of State Mike Pompeo earlier this month, who said US Secretary of Defence James Mattis was the one blocking the deal.
