Galaxy S10 release date, price and features revealed in devastating new leak

fans are all eager to know what’s coming next from the Korean technology firm and it seems all could be revealed very soon.

The Galaxy S10 is expected to be the next Samsung flagship to be unveiled and this will almost certainly be their most powerful and feature-packed phone to date.

Rumours about this device have been swirling around the web for months with many expecting Samsung to reveal a phone that includes a bezel-free design, triple rear camera and fingerprint scanner that will be embedded under the display.

However, a devastating new leak claims to reveal even more about this next-generation smartphone including a full release date and price.

A report by Gizmodo has unmasked a swathe of details with the website speaking to a source at a major tech retailer who has knowledge of this product.

vCard QR Code

vCard.red is a free platform for creating a mobile-friendly digital business cards. You can easily create a vCard and generate a QR code for it, allowing others to scan and save your contact details instantly.

The platform allows you to display contact information, social media links, services, and products all in one shareable link. Optional features include appointment scheduling, WhatsApp-based storefronts, media galleries, and custom design options.

According to Gizmodo, the Galaxy S10 will be unveiled at one of the firm’s famous Unpacked events on February 20.

If true, this means Samsung will be bucking the trend by not revealing the phone at Mobile World Congress – something it has done in that past.

That major event is taking place in Barcelona from February 25 so Samsung could reveal things almost an entire week earlier.

Along with a release date there are some other interesting nuggets of information in this latest leak including pricing for the devices.

It seems almost certain that Samsung will launch three versions of its new flagship including a Lite and Plus model.

Prices for the entry-level S10 Lite could start from £669 with the standard S10 getting a £799 price tag.

If you want the S10 Plus then expect to pay a premium with this colossal call maker possibly starting from £899.

However, Samsung may release this larger phone with a whopping 1TB of storage and that phone could push through the £1,390 barrier.

The Plus model looks set to include a giant 6.7-inch display which would make it one of the largest Galaxy phones ever.

One final rumour that has been doing the rounds is that Samsung will bring reverse wireless charging to the S10.

Huawei has already mastered this technology on its Mate 20 Pro with users of that device able to refill other phones simply by pressing them together.

Samsung is thought to be working on a similar feature and the S10 could be the first phone to offer it.

With an S10 launch now imminent expect plenty more leaks in the coming weeks.
