LeBron was unstoppable during the Lakers’ 128-100 win on the road against the Hornets on Saturday night.
The four-time MVP wreaked most of the damage at the Spectrum Center, weighing in with 24 points, 12 rebounds and 11 assists.
Ball was also in fabulous form and also claimed a triple-double with 16 points, 10 rebounds and 10 assists to his name.
In doing so, Ball and LeBron became the first team-mates to achieve the feat since Jason Kidd and Vince Carter in 2007 while they were playing for the New Jersey Nets.
It was also the first time two Lakers stars had pulled off a triple-double in the same game since Magic Johnson and Kareem Abdul-Jabbar did it 36 years ago.

LeBron and Ball both claimed triple doubles with time to spare in the fourth quarter of the clash.
Question marks had been placed over LeBron – who joined from the Cleveland Cavaliers last summer – earlier on in the campaign.
Ball also added five steals to his final game tally as Luke Walton’s men took their record to 18-11 for the season and they are fourth in the Western Conference.
For Ball, it was his first triple-double this term.
Walton’s side supported LeBron well too.
JaVale McGee was very impressive, with the Lakers center making nine of his first 10 shots.
In contrast, All-Star point guard Kemba Walker struggled for the Hornets.
Prior to the match, Walker was ninth in the NBA for shooting, averaged 25.6 points per game.
But against the Lakers, he finished with a season-low of four.
Walker shot 2-of-13 from the field and didn’t make any of his three-point attempts.
