James Harden SLAMMED for doing THIS against LeBron James and the Lakers

The Houston Rockets star scored 50 points against the Los Angeles Lakers on Thursday night in the 126-111 win.

He also clocked ten rebounds and 11 assists, as the Lakers struggled to cope with the Rockets’ offence.

The Lakers gave away 21 fouls to the Rockets, and were hit by 32 free-throws.

LeBron James and co were forced to defend with their hands behind their backs to avoid giving away fouls.

And Lonzo Ball let his feelings be known about the situation.

He slammed the refereeing after the game and claimed he was unable to defend properly.

“You can’t touch them,” he said.

“I was just trying not to foul today.

“They were calling it tight today, so I was just trying to get my hands out there, it’s very tough staying in front of him [Harden] with your hands like that.”

And NBA expert Tas Melas explained on The Starters podcast that Harden is the toughest player to defend against.

“No other player pushes the boundaries of getting calls like James Harden does,” he explained.

“I do think it’s true [Harden is the toughest player to defend].

“He’s looking for those arms.

“He is literally looking for anybody sticking those arms out, so he can get a foul call.

“What the Lakers did is what the Warriors have done when they’ve played the Rockets in the post-season, and that’s keep your hands behind your back.

“I have no problem with him trying to find the letter of the law, that’s what he does.”

Melas also suggested that Harden’s style of play damages his own game.

“It can also be maddening for James Harden if you learn to keep your arms back, because he’s always looking for it,” he said.

“The Warriors have gotten under his skin at times because of Klay Thompson and Draymond Green figuring him out, and it’s a balance.

“Sometimes he’s looking for that instead of trying to score, so it throws him off too.”
