Harry and Sandra Redknapp tied the knot in 1967, after they met when they were both 17. Even though they have been married an impressive 51 years, the football manager revealed to his campmates in the jungle that he rings 71-year-old Sandra up to 10 times a day. When he was asked what the secret to his happy marriage is, he responded: “We just get on so well, I only want to be with her. I can never wait to see her.”
How did Harry and Sandra Redknapp meet?
The couple met when they went to a dance at the Two Puddings pub in East London.
Harry was out with his friend ‘Macca’, who he described as a “good-looking geezer” who played for West Ham.
He said: ”I look back on it now and think Sandra must have seen us both coming over and thought, ‘I hope I ain’t got him.’

How many children do Harry and Sandra have?
The 71-year-old is a big family man and regularly spends time with his two sons Jamie and Mark, and his five grandchildren.
Jamie was born in 1973 and was also a professional footballer, but retired in 2005.
He played for Liverpool, Tottenham Hotspur and Southampton and also gained 17 England caps between 1995 and 1999.
Jamie married popster Louise in 1998, who was a member of girl group Eternal.
Harry has shared many stories about his family while in the Australian jungle.
He told his fellow campmates he knew Harry would play professional football as he was so passionate about the sport from an early age.
He said to Emily Atack and Rita Simons: “There are very few footballers who have sons who become footballers.
“People think it’s in the genes because it was amazing how me and Frank senior married sisters and we both had sons who played for England.
“There were never any doubts that he wouldn’t be a footballer, he lived for football it was natural for him.”
Harry’s oldest son Mark is a model and has three children with his wife Lucy.
Sandra has also struggled with personal heartbreak after her twin sister Patricia – who was married to Frank Lampard Snr and mum to England and Chelsea ace Frank – died in 2008.
She was aged 58 and had only been admitted to hospital with severe pneumonia 10 days earlier.
Harry told The Sun: “Pat had never had a day’s illness then suddenly within three or four days we lost her.
“Sandra and her were so close, it was crazy — they were always on the phone for hours every day.”
