Liverpool player ratings vs Bournemouth: Mohamed Salah DOMINATES – who else impressed?

Liverpool were in rampant form against Bournemouth on the south coast with a confident 3-0 victory on Saturday afternoon.

Mohamed Salah scored twice to nudge the Reds into an unbreakable lead, before Andy Robertson’s stinging cross was turned in by Steve Cook for an own goal.

The Egyptian hero was in top form all day as Liverpool maintained their unbeaten start to the 2018/19 season – but which other stars stepped up their game?

Take a look below to reveal the Liverpool player ratings against Bournemouth.

Alisson – 7

Confidently dealt with danger whenever it arose. One misplaced pass, but nothing to be concerned about.

James Milner – 6

Nothing spectacular from the versatile midfielder playing at right-back, but completed his duties with a strong physical edge.

Virgil van Dijk – 7

Dominated everything in the air and on the ground. Comfortable.

Joel Matip – 7

Calm and assured alongside Van Dijk, helped by the fact he didn’t have Callum Wilson to worry about.

Andrew Robertson – 8

More effective at the back than going forward in 2018/19, but he struck the balance perfectly today. He looked rock-solid and tormented the Bournemouth defenders with surging runs.

Georginio Wijnaldum – 6

Quietly efficient. Always available as an option for his more creative team-mates.

Fabinho – 7

For a predominantly defensive player, Fabinho’s greatest strength today was getting the ball moving forward. He constantly recycled the ball and helped push it up the field.

Naby Keita – 7

Such a technically-gifted player. He was a creative presence in the middle with flashes of his potential coming through.

Xherdan Shaqiri – 8

One of the signings of the season in the Premier League for just £13million. Shaqiri looked sharp, saw plenty of the ball and his general movement was enough to scare the Cherries.

Roberto Firmino – 7

Grew into the game and helped link together a lot of Liverpool’s attacking play.

Mohamed Salah – 10

How can you stop anybody playing like that? Pounced on Bournemouth errors, relentless in his pursuit of adding to his goal tally. Scored three and created several big opportunities. Vintage Salah.
