Roger Federer, Nadal and Djokovic have all enjoyed another stellar year, winning all four Grand Slam titles between them.
Despite his advancing years, Federer started the campaign on a high by scooping the Australian Open title.
Nadal then triumphed at the French Open again, winning the trophy for the 11th time of his career, before Djokovic claimed the Australian Open and US Open titles.
Regarding Murray, and it has been a troublesome year for the British star, who has been unable to add to his Grand Slam collection.
The 31-year-old has had a injury-plagued season, dropping down to 259 in the ATP Tour rankings along the way.

However, McEnroe believes he should use Federer, Rafael Nadal and Djokovic as motivators to bounce back.
“He was able to be one of the best players of the last 10 years and winning majors by his athletic ability,” McEnroe told the Daily Mail of Murray.
“If he’s at 100 per cent or close to it I would expect he would be in the top 10 within six to nine months.
“But if he’s at 80 per cent, that’s a totally different person.
“Looking at what Federer did at 36, looking at Nadal. Djokovic suddenly was the old Djokovic this year.
“So I’m sure he looks at those guys and thinks: ‘I should be able to do something akin to that.”
McEnroe also expressed a desire to see Murray at the summit for another two years.
“Clearly he had a serious hip injury and you could see that when he came back he didn’t seem to be 100 per cent, so I’m sure he’s just hoping he can get a couple more years,” he added.
“If he does that I would expect he would be in the top 10 within six to nine months, depending on how many events he does play.
“But I would see him coming back quickly if he’s healthy.
“He is doing everything in his power to get back to full strength.”
