ITV has been plagued by rumours I’m A Celebrity.. Get Me Out Of Here! is fixed after both Noel Edmonds and Malique Thompson-Dwyer looked prepared to exit the Australian jungle last week.
However, host Declan Donnelly, who presents the reality series with Holly Willoughby, has slammed the claims.
The 43-year-old laughed off speculation the programme is rigged when a viewer claimed Monday night’s evictee Sair Khan was ready to leave, before her name was called out.
Taking to Twitter, a fan of the show questioned: “I’m A Celebrity still not rigged? Sair Khan had done her hair and was ready to leave… hmmmm something a bit fishy about these vote offs.”
Responding to the viewer the official Ant and Dec Twitter account wrote: “Done her hair? You’re clutching at straws now!”
Others blasted the fan too, with one person writing: “Someone has always got to moan! Bore off and turn over if you’re not happy!”
Another said: “Her [Sair] hair has looked pretty amazing the whole time she’s been in there to be fair.”
A third joked: “The real conspiracy theory is how the hell did Fleur [East] get treacle out of her hair?”
The comment comes after the campmates licked the golden syrup off the singer following her Dingo Dollar Challenge.
X Factor runner-up Fleur was covered in the sweet treat after competing in a Bake Off style trial with Coronation Street’s Sair.
Eyeing up Fleur’s syrup soaked body, The Vamp’s James McVey asked her: “Is that edible?”
When the songstress said it was, several hungry campers crowded around her and began licking the treat off her skin.
“Come and have a taste of Fleur,” former EastEnders actress Rita Simons urged the other celebrities.
Giggling as the star’s licked the golden syrup off her body, Fleur exclaimed: “Oh my God! This is the weirdest thing ever!”
The bizarre moment went down a treat with viewers watching at home, with many taking to Twitter to discuss the scene.
One person tweeted: “The campmates licking the treacle off of Fleur is the greatest thing I’ve ever witnessed.”
Another viewer exclaimed: “OMG! The celebs licking Fleur East on I’m A Celeb has made my night lol”(sic).
A third commentator called it the “funniest thing ever”, while another said the scene had “made my life”.
Someone else asked: “What did I just watch? Who’s idea was it for The Vamp’s James to lick Fleur East’s arm?
