Tyson Fury demands controversial judge who cost him Deontay Wilder victory is SACKED

Mexican judge Alejandro Rochin scored the fight in Wilder’s favour despite the feeling that Fury had down enough after rising from the canvas TWICE, including in the 12th round.

And Fury wants him out of the sport and has told him to go to Specsavers.

He said: “I’ve never seen a worse decision in my life.

“I don’t know what fight that judge that gave it 115-111 was watching. That judge needs banning.

“He needs sacking or to go to Specsavers.

“Stuff like that gives boxing a bad name.

“I haven’t seen as bad a decision since the first Lennox Lewis and Evander Holyfield fight.

“The world knows who the real WBC champion is. Wilder has had a gift decision in his home country.

“He must be thanking his lucky stars that he still has the green and gold belt. That belt belongs to me, Tyson Fury.”

Former world heavyweight king Lennox Lewis also agreed, he said: “It happened to me and I knew it was going to happen to him. Everybody could see who won.”

Fury was also angered by British judge Phil Edwards for scoring the fight a draw at 113-113.

The Brit’s promoter Frank Warren called the decision a “robbery” and said they will be writing to the WBC to request a rematch.

The WBC will sit down in the coming weeks to discuss the matter and vote on whether to force Wilder into a rerun with Fury.

The Manchester-born fighter remained unbeaten after he somehow got off the canvas in the last round after a right hand and left hook left him flat on his back.

And now he wants the chance to do it again.

Fury said: “Getting off the canvas is what true champions do. You can’t stop me getting up. I’m like a phoenix rising from the ashes. We want the rematch now.”

Warren is keen to bring the second fight to the UK and Wilder’s co-manager Shelly Finkel is happy for his man to travel.

But there is also the matter of WBA, WBO and IBF champion Anthony Joshua and Finkel is expecting a call from his promoter Eddie Hearn.

He said: “Anything is a possibility. We will see if the guy (Eddie Hearn) calls us.

“Maybe Joshua will think my guy is not so good and will want to fight him now.”
