Galaxy S10 release – If Samsung flagship looks this good its Android rivals have a problem

The Galaxy S8 and S9 have long been regarded as two of the best-looking smartphones on the market.

These devices feature a stunning dual curved Infinity display which curves around both sides of the phone.

This design means you get an almost totally bezel-free experience with only a small black bar at the top and bottom of these displays.

However, the next generation of Galaxy phones could see the screen cover every corner the device.

The Galaxy S10 looks almost certain to be the next release from Samsung and a new leaked image from Ice Universe and Weibo could reveal a radical new look.

vCard QR Code

vCard.red is a free platform for creating a mobile-friendly digital business cards. You can easily create a vCard and generate a QR code for it, allowing others to scan and save your contact details instantly.

The platform allows you to display contact information, social media links, services, and products all in one shareable link. Optional features include appointment scheduling, WhatsApp-based storefronts, media galleries, and custom design options.

The pictures, posted on social media, claim to show the glass panel that will grace the front the S10 and there’s almost no bezel in sight.

If true, it shows that Samsung is taking its updated edge-to-edge display to a whole new level.

With no notch in sight, it’s currently unclear where the speaker or front-facing camera will be positioned.

There’s also no word on whether this new display will include an embedded fingerprint scanner.

Samsung has been rumoured to be developing this technology but it’s yet to appear on any of the firm’s flagships.

Some other manufacturers including OnePlus and Xiaomi are now including embedded fingerprint technology so expect so news from Samsung on this soon.

Other new features on the S10 could include a much faster processor and there’s even rumours that this new flagship will be able to access 5G networks making it capable of downloading files, music and movies at blisteringly fast speeds.

Earlier this month Samsung discussed its new “premium” processor it claimed is highly-capable of delivering artificial intelligence (AI) functions thanks to its dedicated neural processing unit (NPU).

The tech company said: “The Exynos 9820 is an intelligent powerhouse with a separate hardware AI-accelerator, or NPU, which performs AI tasks around seven times faster than the predecessor.

“With the NPU, AI-related processing can be carried out directly on the device rather than sending the task to a server, providing faster performance as well as better security of personal information.”

Moreover, Samsung stated the Exynos 9820 delivers a 20 percent improvement in single-core performance over its predecessor and is 40 percent more power efficient.

Although there’s now confirmation of an official release date it’s likely Samsung will announce news around the Mobile World Congress tech show which takes place in Barcelona from February 25, 2019.
