The transiting Moon passes through the fourth astrological sign of the zodiac of the zodiac today in the constellation Cancer. In astrology, Cancer is a so-called cardinal water sign and is ruled over by the Moon. Cancer is said to be loyal, emotional, sympathetic and very imaginative.
People born under this sign are believed to always lend a helping hand when need be, enjoy time with their friends and enjoy relaxation near bodies of water.
At the same time, the Sun is passing through the zodiac of Sagittarius – the ninth star sign of the horoscope.
Sagittarius is the sign of generosity and humour and lasts between November 22 and December 21.
According to astrologer Debra Silverman of Astrology Answers, the Moon and Sun in this coordination will affect your day from Sunday to Monday, November 26.
She said: “Bye-bye Turkey Day – that was last weekend – now we’re having Sunday and Monday where the Sun is in Sagittarius and the Moon is in Cancer.
“It’s kind of like Turkey Day cause you’re going to want to cook again. It’s the indulging flavours.
“You put these two together and they are so excited about food, about smells, about having fun in the family arena, about having family and being connected, being really juicy.”
At worst, the star signs will clash with one another and radiate mixed feelings.
Ms Silverman said Sagittarius is the loud and jubilant energy while Cancer just wants to stay home and relax.
She said: “Put them together and you have a loud home with music on where you’re serving food.
“I would say make a really nice dinner on Sunday night.”
The Sun in Sagittarius is also joined today by the gas giant Jupiter and the retrograding planet Mercury.
With Mercury in retrograde motion across the skies, things might go a little “bouncy” today, but Ms Silverman said there is always a positive upside.
She suggested you focus on finding a positive attitude and emotional stability today.
The astrologer said: “I want to say to you make sure you are having fun and that lovely Jupiter is the planet of luck.
“So if someone was born, they would be born under a lucky star.
“When the Sun and Jupiter are together – it only happens once a year – it means that Jupiter, the planet of abundance, is right next to the Sun and it means they’re having fun.
“Are you having fun?”
