Ronda Rousey: WWE legend reveals SHOCK injury story proving how tough UFC hero really is

Henry told Busted Open Radio about a painful stem cell procedure he had and remembered he was in so much agony when he woke up that he begged doctors to give him medicine so he can go back to sleep.

The World’s Strongest Man then insisted that Rousey had the exact same surgery without any sedatives.

The two-time world champion said: ”Maybe it’s not for me to tell this story, but I’ll let the cat out the bag.

“I heard, because I was talking about having stem cells to help my knee and my hip flexor.

“So, I had the surgery when I had my knee done, and they drill into your hip bones and they pull out the marrow.

“They spin it, create a serum and inject it into wherever you need it to help.

“I was put under to get that done. When I woke up, I was in as much pain as any surgery or any injury that I ever had because of the sensitive area in your hips.

“I heard that Ronda Rousey had the stem cells done before and they didn’t use anaesthesia to put her under.

“They drilled into her hips and extracted the stem cells while she was awake. It hurt her but she was able to do it.

“And I’m going to tell you guys right now. I could not have done that. I woke up in so much pain that I was begging for medicine to put me to sleep.

“I said, ‘Give me medicine. I don’t want to feel this, this hurts. I’m in pain.’

“And she did that awake? Golly, that’s got to count for being one of the toughest humans alive – not [just] in wrestling, period.”

Rousey has taken WWE by storm ever since joining Vince McMahon’s promotion from UFC last January at the Royal Rumble.

The Baddest Woman on the Planet put together arguably the greatest ever in-ring debut at WrestleMania 34 where she teamed up with fellow Olympian Kurt Angle and defeated Triple H as well as Stephanie McMahon in a Mixed Tag Team Match.

Four months after her stunning wrestling bow the UFC Hall of Famer won the RAW Women’s Championship from Alexa Bliss at SummerSlam.
