Pokemon Go Community Day UPDATE: Ultimate Battle begins after November thrashing

Pokemon Go’s December Community Day event has taken on added significance for Team Valor and Team Instinct.

The November Community Day results have finally been revealed, and it was good news for Team Mystic.

The blue team dominated the November Community Day, catching the most Pokemon in Europe, Asia, South America and Africa.

The yellows of Team Instinct would win the battle in North America, but would come third overall.

This means the reds of Team Valor would claim second place, despite only capturing the most Pokemon in Oceania.

It’s a disappointing result for Team Valor and Instinct, especially after clawing some ground back in September.

Fortunately, the reds and yellows will have a chance to redeem themselves when the December Community Day rolls around.

It was recently announced that the December Community Day would take place over an entire weekend.

And in another departure from the norm, every past Community Day Pokemon will make an appearance.

This includes Bulbasaur, Charmander, Squirtle, Pikachu, Eevee, Dratini, Chikorita, Cyndaquil, Mareep, Larvitar, and Beldum.

It’s ideal if you missed any previous Community Day events, or didn’t quite catch enough Pocket Monsters for the special move evolution.

Needless to say, players can also take advantage of a host of other bonuses for taking part in the Community Day event.

Evolving Pocket Monsters into their final form will unlock an exclusive special move.

Fans also have a much better chance of finding and capturing a shiny Pokemon.

That’s on top of double XP for catching Pokemon, double catch Stardust and double Incubator effectiveness.
