Steve Bannon plotting to drive a ‘STAKE through the VAMPIRE’ of the EU with election plan

The mastermind behind Trump’s presidential campaign explained he believed there will be chaos as right-wing and populist groups continue to rise throughout the EU. He said: “It will be like the intensity of Brexit which came over like a summer storm.” Currently, Mr Bannon is preparing to support right-wing and populist parties participating in the European Parliament elections next year.

He said: “The beating heart of the globalist project is in Brussels.

“If I drive the stake through the vampire, the whole thing will start to dissipate.”

The former Trump advisor explained he was hoping to turn the May 2019 elections into “a continent-wide referendum on the EU”.

Following his departure from the White House, Mr Bannon was starting a European operation called the Movement.

The organisation is based in the EU capital Brussels and it will give far-right parties access to polling data, analytics, alive on their social media campaigns and even help when it comes to choosing a candidate.

Mr Bannon said: “Remember ‘Bannon’s theorem’.

“You put a reasonable face on rightwing populism, you get elected.”

The former White House advisor is trying to create a “super group” in the European Parliament.

The group would unite ultra-right wing and Eurosceptic forces in countries like Sweden, Austria, Italy, Hungary, Belgium, Poland and Germany.

However, despite his best efforts, nearly every group that he reaches out to has so far rejected his support.

Electoral laws also restrict his ability to campaign in many countries.

This does not concern Mr Bannon, though.

Despite these setbacks, he is still able to gather a lot of attention and exposure for the Movement.

Currently, the only major member that has signed onto the Movement in Italy’s interior minister Mateo Salvini.
