Becky Lynch: WWE star reveals why Charlotte Flair deserves to face Ronda Rousey

Lynch was scheduled to battle Rousey on Sunday at the Staples Center in Los Angeles but the Irish Lass Kicker was removed from the show after suffering some serious facial injuries and a concussion.

The Man was injured when Nia Jax punched her in the face during a brawl that ensued after the Irish superstar led Smackdown to a successful invasion on RAW.

The 31-year-old star then had to pick her replacement for the match and decided to give former rival Charlotte the nod because ”she’s tough as nails”.

However, the two-time women’s champion insists The Queen needs to bring the win back home to Smackdown after Survivor Series.

The Limerick-born superstar admitted that Rousey has achieved a lot in her short period in WWE but she’s not The Man and their feud is not over yet.

She told WWE.com: “Toughest person I’ve ever faced is Charlotte.

“That woman hits like a truck and she’s tough as nails so I don’t think there’s another person that I could pick that would represent Smackdown Live as well against Ronda Rousey.

“Ronda’s done a lot in such a short period of time and she’s extremely popular, but she’s not The Man. I’m The Man.

“It was proven who The Man is. And I was going to prove that at Survivor Series. I was going to prove that on Sunday.

“I guess we’ll have to wait because this isn’t over. [It] can’t be over.

“She [Charlotte] better go take the win home for Smackdown.”

Lynch led an ambush on RAW last Monday night where she took out Rousey with the Dis-Arm-Her as well as three chair shots.

The Man broke her nose and picked up a concussion during the brawl but that didn’t stop her from fighting and carrying out a successful invasion despite all the blood pouring down her face.

She was then taken to an Emergency Room in Kansas City, Missouri and was summoned the next day to a closed-door meeting with WWE officials and medical stuff.

It was then when Lynch found out that the promotion wouldn’t clear her to wrestle at Survivor Series.
