Under Jurgen Klopp, Origi has slipped down the pecking order this term with Mohamed Salah, Roberto Firmino and Sadio Mane spearheading the attack.
Reports last weekend suggested that Klopp could offload Dominic Solanke, so long as Origi isn’t sold.
But according to the Daily Mirror, Wolves have made it their priority to land a forward and Origi is top of their list.
Origi is thought to be valued at £20million, and the Mirror suggests that Wolves are ready to firm up their interest.
The midlands club initially made an enquiry for the Belgian last summer.

He said: “Solanke may need to leave Liverpool if he is to progress.
“He needs to be playing football if he’s to improve, but he’s unlikely to get on the pitch at Liverpool.
“It would be a big decision to leave Liverpool because it’s one of the biggest clubs in the country, but it might be best for his career.
“He will probably look to go out on loan initially as I can’t see him jumping the queue ahead of Liverpool’s other options.
“[Ruben] Loftus-Cheek and [Marcus] Rashford are in similar positions to Solanke at Liverpool.”
Liverpool remain unbeaten in the Premier League.
They travel to face Watford next Saturday (3pm).
