It is only a matter of days now. Mere mortals with no access to an Eye of Agamoto have been waiting (not so) patiently all year for the first look at the Infinity War sequel. Marvel superemo Kevin Feige already confirmed the trailer would arrive before the end of the year, and the year is fast running out. After an eagle-eyed fan spotted an advert in the latest Marvel comic, it means the date can now only be just around the corner. But can it really be just six days away?
A Marvel fan posted an image online showing the advert for the Avengers Prelude Part 1 comicbook. The date on the advert is December 5.
He wrote: “This was at the end of the #CaptainMarvel prelude comic… the first #Avengers4 trailer has to come out before its first prelude comic… right?”
The first Captain Marvel trailer was released before the Captain Marvel Prelude comic and the same happened for the Infinity War Prelude.
Immediately commentators worldwide picked up the news, and it was soon pointed out that there is a major event in the US whch would be the perfect time to launch the Avengers 4 trailer.

Every year American celebrate Thanksgiving on the fourth Thursday of November, which falls on November 22 this year.
That is six days from now.
One excited commentator wrote: “It’s gonna be Thanksgiving week. People will be with their families and if a trailer drops they’ll talk about it with their family. They’ll make plans to see it. Bring family members who wouldn’t see it before. They want ticket sales, so if your entire family goes, they get more dollars.”
Previous reports centred on the trailer being launched the usual Marvel and Disney way, which means either during Good Morning America or during one of the first advertising breaks for Monday night Football.
If the trailer doesn’t appear on November 22, Marvel will avoid the 23rd, which is Black Friday, when the world will be focussed on hunting online bargains.
This leaves Monday November or December 3 for a Football slot before the comic comes out. Whatever the day, though, it now seems certain the trailer will drop before December 5.
AVENGERS 4 IS OUT ON APRIL 26, 2019
