Kevin Clifton has somewhat of a tumultuous relationship history. The 36-year-old has been married three times. His first marriage was to a fellow dancer when he was just 20, and lasted for three years.
But it was during last year’s season of Strictly Come Dancing the two reportedly became strained due to long distance commutes and hectic work schedules.
And later rumours emerged Karen had been dating her accountant Stuart Wood as her marriage hit the rocks.
Kevin proposed to Karen, who was previously married to former dance partner Matthew Hauer, on her birthday on stage as they starred in a touring production of Burn The Floor in 2014.
The pair remain on good terms, however, and still dance together both on Strictly Come Dancing and as part of their dance tour.

Kevin, understandably, is wary of marriage now, as he revealed in a live video with Stacey Dooley, 31, on Instagram on Thursday.
Posted from Stacey’s profile, followers could write messages to the pair whilst they sat and chatted to the camera during a rehearsal break.
Kevin got a marriage proposal from one of their fans, which prompted the marriage-weary Kevin to joke about the prospect.
Reading one of the comments on their clip, the Grimsby-born dancer said: “Kevin come and marry me?”
Replying to the fan, he stated: “Oh is that a serious offer? Trust me, that’s a bad idea!”
Stacey couldn’t help but laugh and fell into fits of giggles as Kevin added: “I can tell you now that’s a bad idea.”
This weekend, the Strictly Come Dancing pair will be performing the Waltz to Audrey Hepburn’s song Moon River.
Discussing their upcoming routine, Stacey admitted it has been a struggle practising a “slower” dance.
She spilled: “Initially I was so excited, then I hated it. I thought it was so slow but now I love it again.”
“You got over the hump,” replied Kevin.
