Coronation Street star Brooke Vincent, 26, admitted she asks producers for food on set and loves to film in the cobbles’ famous cafe.
Speaking exclusively to Express.co.uk, she said: “I love eating in scenes.
“I’ll say to them, ‘I’ll have some toast in rehearsals and then I won’t eat it on the day’.
“And they’re like, ‘That defeats the whole object,’ and I’m like, ‘No it’s fine because I’ll just be finishing off my breakfast’.
“But yeah, we have a lovely crew and cast and production crew so it’s really nice.”

Brooke added that Roy’s Rolls is her favourite place to shoot a scene.
She continued: “Going in Roy’s is my favourite. I’m like, ‘Can I have an eclair please?’”
Brooke also said she favours filming a party scene when there is a buffet.
She divulged: “Party scenes are always my favourite… they put stuff out like nuts and crisps and you just keep eating.
“Obviously we’re filming Christmas at the minute, so I’m like, ‘Oh get some chocolates out,’ so yeah it’s all good.”
But Brooke admitted eating food in scenes is actually optional.
She added: “It’s very much you can miss it or eat it.
“The only thing is depending on how many takes you have to do, you sometimes get very full very quickly.”
Brooke has been playing Sophie on the cobbles since 2004.
Despite her controversial storylines including being the soap’s first lesbian, she recently referred to her alter ego as a “wet lettuce”.
Brooke admitted she would love her character to change into more of a villain like Kate Ford’s character Tracey Barlow.
She revealed: “I’d like Sophie to be like nasty.
“Like a cross between… oh I don’t know… a more b****ier character like Tracey Barlow.
“I love Tracey Barlow, I think she’s mint. So I’d love to look like her and grow up and be a bit like her.”
Coronation Street continues tonight at 7:30pm on ITV.
