N64 Mini Classic News: Nintendo Direct announcement coming soon?

It appears fans are ready for Nintendo to announce their next mini games console to be the N64 Classic.

There’s plenty of appetite among gamers to play classic titles such as Mario 64 and Zelda: Ocarina of Time again.

According to online reports, Nintendo might be about to do just that and perhaps make a big announcement during a Direct livestream event.

We’ve already had one dedicated to Super Smash Bros in the last week, but it appears there could be another planned for November.

Nintendo is known for packing their Direct livestream events close together, so something could be in the works for the coming weeks.

vCard QR Code

vCard.red is a free platform for creating a mobile-friendly digital business cards. You can easily create a vCard and generate a QR code for it, allowing others to scan and save your contact details instantly.

The platform allows you to display contact information, social media links, services, and products all in one shareable link. Optional features include appointment scheduling, WhatsApp-based storefronts, media galleries, and custom design options.

A more general announcement would leave plenty of room for the N64 Classic to be revealed, along with whatever other new projects Nintendo want to highlight.

It would also be a great way to reveal whatever new apps might be coming to the Nintendo Switch, which still offers a pretty sparse range.

Gaming Intel has supported the idea of a new Nintendo Direct being held in November, with the event possibly happening later this week.

“We are unsure of the exact date, something which we are trying to confirm as fast as we can,” the report explains.

“However, there were whispers of a November 8th Direct, although we cannot confirm this. Our source went on to state “I am 100% confident about another direct in November.

“I am NOT 100% confident on the date of November 8th. Given the recent YouTube leak, it does seem feasible that a November 8th Nintendo direct could take place, but I am not 100% sure.”

So while there’s a chance of something is happening, it remains pure speculation at this time.

If something like this were being hosted by Nintendo, they would probably want to inform fans within the next few days.

This means that we could hear more by Tuesday, November 6, if something is being planned for this week.

Nintendo Direct events have been delayed and moved around in the past, so there’s a chance of other dates being announced as well.

But even if a new Nintendo Direct is being hosted, it doesn’t mean an N64 Mini would be part of it.

While both the NES and SNES Classics proved popular with fans, these were focused on 2D games.

And like the PlayStation Classic, the N64 dealt with the first 3D console games, not always the most pretty sight.

However, there have been hints that Nintendo could be preparing a new mini console release.

One Twitter user claims to have been given leaked images of the console from an unnamed source close to the company.

While the console is by no means confirmed, the images certainly are convincing.

Earlier this year a trademark filed by Nintendo looked to have revealed the existence of the N64 Classic Mini.

The filing listed the purposes for the trademark and included a video game programme, controller for the game machine, joystick, TV game machine and more.

Last July Express.co.uk also reported on how Nintendo had filled a separate N64 trademark.

The patent related to the controller of the Nintendo 64. At the time they also filed trademarks in Europe for the SNES and NES controllers.

Ahead of the release of the SNES and NES Classic Minis, Nintendo filled similar trademarks.
