Google Pixel 3 & XL Design Renders: https://bgr.com/2018/05/31/pixel-3-xl-vs-iphone-x-design-notch-camera/
Expected Release Date: October 4, 2018
Pixel 2 and original Pixel models were released on October 4, 2017 and October 4, 2016, respectively.
Design
Bezels on both models are significantly smaller than their Pixel 2 and Pixel 2 XL predecessors
Cut-outs on upper and lower bezels for both phones indicate:
Google’s retention of front-facing stereo speakers
the addition of dual, front-facing cameras
Pixel 3 XL will likely feature an upper notch similar to the iPhone X
May keep the pressure sensitive sides for Google Assistant squeeze functionality
Hardware/Specs
Likely to have Qualcomm Snapdragon 845
7nm chip that is faster and 30% more efficient than any before it
Due to an octa-core Kryo 385 CPU with four 2.8GHz high-power cores and four 1.8GHz low power cores
Built-in with Qualcomm’s new super-fast X20 LTE modem which offers CAT 18 speeds of more than 1Gbps
Enhanced Spectra 280 image signal processor
Possible improvement in video recording potential to Ultra-HD
Potential increase in RAM
from 4GB to 6GB (or even 8GB)
Storage capacity will likely remain at 64GB and 128GB
Note: Pixel 2 and 2 XL did not have microSD support for storage expansion
Similar battery capacity as that of the Pixel 2 (2700mAh) and Pixel 2 XL (3520mAh)
No headphone jack
Slim possibility of wireless charging but highly desired/anticipated by consumers
Display
Google is sourcing the OLED displays for the Pixel 3 through LG (again)
