Fortnite update 6.30 early patch notes: Balloons, Zoey Skin fix, Fortnitemares, more

developer Epic Games is getting ready to release another new update.

Fortnite update 6.30 is expected to be released on either October 30 or October 31.

There’s no word on downtime, although previous updates from season 6 have coincided with server maintenance.

As part of the early patch notes, players can expect Balloons to be added to the game during the next update.

That’s according to the in-game notifications, which confirm that Balloons are coming to Fortnite soon.

“Inflate balloons to defy gravity!” reads an Epic post. “Add balloons to increase your altitude!”

It looks like Balloons will give players the opportunity to float above the battlefield.

Players will also be hoping that Epic fixes a problem with the Zoey skin.

The Fortnite developer disabled the costume after it was failing to render. This gave players an unfair advantage in Battle Royale.

“Players have found an issue with the Zoey outfit and we have temporarily disabled it while we work on a fix,” reads an Epic tweet.

The studio is also likely to make tweaks to the Fortnitemares event, having already and the spawn rates of Cube Monsters.

The Epic Games Trello board also reveals some of the issues being investigated by the studio.

Epic Games is investigating an issue with crosshairs being blocked for certain outfits while aiming.

Elsewhere, Player models in Replays are sometimes getting stuck with Shadow Stone effects. There’s also a problem with music for certain emotes not playing.

Epic has also fixed multiple Save the World issues, including reload problems and audio cuts.
