Fallout players are eagerly awaiting the upcoming release of Fallout 76, having been promised most dynamic world ever created in the Fallout universe.
Fallout 76 is set in Reclamation Day 2102, where the ever-present threat of nuclear annihilation looms.
Announcing the Fallout 76 beta news, Bethesda said: “While players ultimately will experience unique adventures, stories, and exciting moments along their Fallout 76 journey, they’ll all begin the same: within the safe confines of Vault 76 on Reclamation Day.
“For the very first time, we’re excited to share the first step players will take into beautiful, untamed Appalachia”
Fallout 76 beta times:
Fallout 76’s full release date is November 14 on PC, PS4 and Xbox One.
The game will not be available on the Google Play store and will released exclusively on developer Bethesda’s own digital distribution platform.
The Xbox One Fallout 76 beta release date is Tuesday, October 23.
The PS4 and PC Fallout 76 beta release date is Tuesday, October 30.
But the beta won’t be live 24/7.
“On any given day the game might be up for anywhere between four to eight hours,” Bethesda explains.
“Focusing as many players as we can into these windows is our prime objective. Then we’ll fix what we need to fix and do it again and again from the start of B.E.T.A. until a few days before launch.”
The beta will only be online in select test phases, with the developer intent on stress testing the game by maximising the number of players who are online at the same time, ahead of the full launch.
Second test phase Fallout 76 Xbox One beta start time:
UK: 10pm to 12am (BST) Saturday October 27.
Europe: 11pm to 1am (CEST) Saturday 27 / Sunday October 28
US East Coast: 5pm to 7pm (ET) Saturday October 27.
US West Coast: 2pm to 4pm (PDT) Saturday October 27.
Third test phase Fallout 76 Xbox One beta start time:
UK: 4pm to 6pm (GMT) Sunday October 28.
Europe: 5pm to 7pm (CET) Sunday October 28.
US East Coast: 12pm to 2pm (ET) Sunday October 28.
US West Coast: 9am to 11am (PDT) Sunday October 28.
The PS4 beta will not begin until a week later.
The official starting date is October 30, meaning PS4 users in the UK can start playing at midnight on October 31.
To get a code for the Fallout 76 beta on PS4, fans need to pre-order the game first.
Pre-ordering the game from the PlayStation Store will automatically allow users to enter into the beta.
If you pre-order the game from retailers like Amazon, then you will need to visit the Bethesda website to redeem your code.
You will then be notified when you can pre-load the game for PS4.
Although there is so afar no word on the beta’s file size, the Xbox One’s is approximately 45GB.
