New York pipe bomb sent to CNN had ISIS parody flag reading ‘Get ‘Er Done’

The building was forced to evacuate after a suspicious packet was sent to the CNN building on Wednesday, addressed to former CIA Director John Brennan.

It has now emerged that the pipe bomb included a sticker which mocks the ISIS flag, replacing Arabic letters with silhouettes of women wearing heels, along with the words “Get ‘Er Done”, a catchphrase of stand up comedian, Larry the Cable Guy.

The black-and-white parody flag was stuck on to the homemade pipe bomb discovered at CNN’s TimeWarner building in Midtown Manhattan, according to the New York Post.

Images of the bomb also show include an image of a face next to the joke flag.

The identity of the person in the photo remains unknown.

The joke flag has been circulating on social media since 2014 after it was created by right-wing parody site World News Bureau.

It comes as a suspect package was found at Robert De Niro’s restaurant, Tribeca, in New York in the latest US bomb scare – the day after similar packages were sent to Hillary Clinton and Barrack Obama.

Similar to the other packages, the one sent to Mr De Niro had six American flag stamps in two rows.

The package is the eighth explosive device sent to President Donald Trump’s critics.

The bomb suspect has now been dubbed the ‘MAGAbomber’ by Twitter users after explosive devices were sent to a number of critics of the US President Donald Trump including George Soros, Hillary Clinton and former American leader Barack Obama.

MAGA is the acronym for Mr Trump’s campaign slogan ‘Make America Great Again’.

The packages, which are suspected to be pipe bombs, were intended to arrive at the homes of the top Democrats but were intercepted by the authorities.

The Former US vice president Joe Biden was sent a suspect package through the post late on Wednesday night.

The parcel was misaddressed and returned to the sender, but is not being considered as suspicious.
