
At a rally in Mosinee, Wisconsin yesterday, Trump condemned those behind the “suspicious devices” and vowed to bring them to justice.
He said: “My highest duty, as you know, as President is to keep America safe.
“The federal government is conducting an aggressive investigation and we will find those responsible and we will bring them to justice, hopefully very quickly.”
No one has been hurt by the devices, which were also sent to broadcaster CNN and liberal philanthropist and financier George Soros.
Trump said violence and threats of violence were not to be tolerated and called for the nation to “come together in peace and harmony”.

He said: “Any acts or threats of political violence are an attack on our democracy itself.
“No nation can succeed that tolerates violence or the threat of violence as a method of political intimidation, coercion or control. We all know that.
“Such conduct must be fiercely opposed and firmly prosecuted.”
The President said those in the political sphere must stop branding opponents as “morally defective” or comparing them to “historical villains”.
He also said the media had a “responsibility to set a civil tone”, to which the audience applauded.
He said: “As part of a larger national effort to bridge our divides and bring people together, the media also has a responsibility to set a civil tone and to stop the endless hostility and constant negative and often false attacks and stories.”
Trump was speaking at a “Make America Great Again” rally in support of two Republican candidates for office ahead of the mid-term elections.
He was there supporting Republican Governor Scott Walker, who is seeking a third term in office, as well as Republican senate candidate Leah Vukmir.
Trump said: “No one should carelessly compare political opponents to historical villains, which is done often, its done all the time, it’s got to stop.
“We should not mob people in public spaces or destroy public property.
“There is one way to settle our disagreements, it’s called peacefully at the ballot box.”
