While not confirmed yet by Valve or on the official Steam site, it appears we may know when the Steam Halloween Sale 2018 will begin.
While there was no question of the usual seasonal sales being cancelled, Valve doesn’t usually share news about it until a lot closer to the time.
However, as the past years have taught us, these details always seem to appear online before they’re supposed to.
And 2018 has proven no different, with a new leak claiming to know all the next major dates for Steam Sales this year.
This includes both the start date and the start times for the Steam Halloween Sale, which fans won’t have to wait long for.
According to the new leak, first reported by Kotaku, the Halloween Sale will begin on October 29th, at 10am, PST.
For Steam users in the UK, that means the Halloween Sale will begin next Monday, at around 6pm.
This new run of deals will last on the PC platform until Thursday, November 1.
There will also be two other Sales this year as part of the new Valve program, both of which gamers will be familiar with.
The Steam Autumn Sale begins November 21 and will run until November 27, so just one week of discounts.
This will be followed by the Steam Winter Sale, which lasts two weeks and is scheduled to begin on December 20th.
There’s a good chance that one of the platforms biggest games will see a discount during at least one of these sales.
PUBG is facing falling players numbers, albeit, not enough to cause much concern among the player base.
A natural reduction in players is pretty normal, with the average peak still outpacing all other games on Steam.
But it would certainly make sense for Bluehole Inc to take the chance of grabbing a few more players before the end of 2018.
PUBG has been discounted before and is facing competition from both Fortnite and Black Ops 4.
However, while Black Ops 4 is known to have a healthy amount of players on all platforms, its release doesn’t seem to have affected PUBG in any discernable way.
With the Halloween Sale on Steam scheduled for next week, fans can expect some kind of announcement from Valve in the coming days.
