Pokemon Go Community Day November 2018 UPDATE: Dates and contenders for next event

fans are counting down the days to the next Community Day event in November.

With the October Community Day event behind us, Niantic has announced plans to hold the next event in just a few weeks.

The November Community Day event will take place on November 10. Expect the event to take place from 10am to 1pm UK time.

Niantic will announce the next Community Day Pokemon within the next week, although the identity of the Pocket Monster may have already leaked.

Earlier this year, The Silph Road published a piece predicting the Community Day Pokemon for the year.

The post correctly claimed that Chikorita would headline the September event, while Slakoth, Cyndaquil and Trapinch were also tipped to appear.

The post also mentions Ralts, so it’s possible we’ll see the Psychic/Fairy type make an appearance soon.

You can take a look at the future Community Day contenders in the gallery below…

It’s possible that we’ll see a Gen 4 Pokemon take centre stage soon.

The obvious contenders would be the Sinnoh region starter Pokemon, including Turtwig, Chimchar and Piplup.

The November Community Day event will also come with a slew of bonuses.

Lures will last for the duration of the event, and a new Shiny will also be available.

Pokemon Go fans are also counting down to the start of the 2018 Halloween event.

The 2017 Halloween event kicked off on Friday, October 20, and ran until November 2.

Last year’s event coincided with the release of Gen 3 Pokemon such as Shuppet, Banette, Sableye, Duskull and Dusclops.

Fans were also treated to a special limited time Pikachu, not to mention bonus Candy from hatching, catching and transferring Pokemon.

The next Halloween event is almost certain to start within the next week, and could feature a range of Gen 4 Pokemon.

This includes Drifloon, Mismagius, Dusknoir, Froslass, Spiritomb and Drifblim.
