P20 Pro deals and price crash offers a big advantage over Huawei’s Mate 20 Pro

The P20 Pro is one of the best phones of the year but it’s getting some stiff competition from a new device just launched by Huawei.

Called the , this latest phone features a number of improvements which you won’t find on the P20.

These include a bigger 6.39-inch display, faster processor and in-screen fingerprint scanner which allows the phone to unlock via a simple touch of the display.

Another extra tucked under the glass and metal body is the ability to wirelessly charger the Mate 20 Pro.

And Huawei has even included some clever technology which allows users to refill other phones via reverse wireless charging.

vCard QR Code

vCard.red is a free platform for creating a mobile-friendly digital business cards. You can easily create a vCard and generate a QR code for it, allowing others to scan and save your contact details instantly.

The platform allows you to display contact information, social media links, services, and products all in one shareable link. Optional features include appointment scheduling, WhatsApp-based storefronts, media galleries, and custom design options.

With all this new tech crammed inside the Mate 20 Pro is clearly a very good phone and raises the bar over the P20 Pro.

However, there is one big advantage of buying Huawei’s older device and that’s the price.

The P20 Pro has plummeted in recent months with one deal allowing fans to pop it in their pocket for just £18 per month.

This offer, which comes via Mobiles.co.uk, gives users 1GB of data plus unlimited calls and texts with the total over two years, including an upfront fee, costing £617.

Compare that to the £899 SIM-free price of Huawei’s Mate 20 Pro and you can see why some may be be tempted to opt for this less feature-packed phone.

If 1GB doesn’t sound enough then there is also a deal which offers 4GB of data on the P20 Pro for £23 per month.

The total for this deal still comes out much cheaper than buying Huawei’s new phone with the total price over the two-year contract costing £720.

For those desperate to own the very latest and greatest smartphone there is one piece of good news about the Mate 20 Pro.

The Chinese tech giant is currently offering a free Huawei Watch GT and wireless charging pad alongside the Mate 20 Pro to customers that pre-order the device between October 16 and October 25.

Huawei has listed the retailers that will be supporting the offer on its website.

Once Android fans have secured their device, they need to provide a receipt number, the date of pre-order and other details on Huawei’s “claim now” page in order to take advantage of the offer.

Huawei insists the combined saving of the deal thanks to the free wearable and charger is £259.

Huawei Watch GT was detailed by the tech giant alongside the Mate 20 Pro at its recent London keynote and boasts a ton of useful functions.

The wearable is capable of fitness and sleep tracking to help make for a more healthy and active lifestyle.
