Suspect in death of Jamal Khashoggi ‘DIES’ in MYSTERIOUS car accident

The report did not mention what role Mashal Saad al-Bostani played in the killing and did not give any details about the car crash.

Mr al-Bostani is one of 15 suspects Turkish officials have identified as having landed in Istanbul on October 2 and left later that same day after visiting the Saudi consulate.

This occurred on the same day that Mr Khashoggi disappeared.

Earlier this week, Turkish police searched the consulate with some official leaking that there are recordings of the confirm that the journalist was killed and dismembered.

According to newspaper Yeni Safak, Saudi Arabia’s Istanbul consul Mohammad al-Otaibi was recorded telling the 15-man team to “do it somewhere else outside or I will be in trouble”.

He was then told: “Shut up if you want to live when you are back in Saudi Arabia.”

Mr al-Otaibi’s house was searched Wednesday and Thursday after he had returned to Saudi Arabia on Tuesday.

Yeni Safak is a pro-Turkish government newspaper that has been accused of printing factually incorrect propaganda in the past.

They are the main source reporting the suspect’s death.

Mr Khshoggi had entered the embassy on October 2 in order to get proof of his divorce so that he could marry his Turkish fiancé.

After not exiting the building for 11 hours, his fiancé Hatice Cengiz reported his disappearance to Turkish officials.

Since his disappearance, Saudi Crown Prince Mohammad bin Salman has denied any knowledge of any Saud officials who were involved in the disappearance.

US President Donald Trump has suggested that “rogue killers” were behind the killing.

Secretary of State Mike Pompeo travelled to Riyadh on a fact finding mission and to speak with the Crown Prince.

He said he is giving Saudi Arabia “a few more days” to complete their investigation.

Mr Khashoggi left Saudi Arabia in 2017 and wrote for the Washington Post.

Many of his articles were critical of the Saudi Royal Family.
