Although Fortnite developer Epic Games has remained tight-lipped about what exactly the 6.03 patch will bring, it is expected the game’s modes, weapons and items will receive an upgrade.
One of the most exciting update 6.03 rumours concerns a new vehicle known as the QuadCrasher from the in-game news page.
It is thought the vehicle will include a boost function to add some extra mph to your top speed.
An Epic post reads: “Charge the boost to crash through structures or get some air!”
Also included in the Fortnite update will be the already-leaked Fortnite Battle Royale gifting system.

vCard.red is a free platform for creating a mobile-friendly digital business cards. You can easily create a vCard and generate a QR code for it, allowing others to scan and save your contact details instantly.
The platform allows you to display contact information, social media links, services, and products all in one shareable link. Optional features include appointment scheduling, WhatsApp-based storefronts, media galleries, and custom design options.
Fortnite fans have already teased with this gifting system.
The system has been planned for ages, as Epic continues to tweak the feature before launch.
It’s however unclear if the footage leaked online is real, but it appears you can select recipients from your friends.
There also seems to be a time limit on the amount of gifts you can send.
As well as offering more content to play with, the update will add fixes that were absent from last week’s content patch.
This includes correcting a problem in which an unrendered Starter Island appears during the loading screen.
Epic Games explains more on Trello: “While loading in, players may notice an unrendered version of the Starter Island appear for a short time, then be replaced with the loading screen again until the map fully renders.”
The developer has torn up its former rigid release schedule, meaning it is harder than ever to predict when Fortnite updates would land.
It is however rumoured Epic will release the new patch on October 24.
