It looks like developers Treyarch has some big plans when it comes to the recent Call of Duty Black Ops 4 release.
Not only are new free specialists going to be launched in the months to come alongside new maps, but more free content is also in the works.
A new progression feature has been leaked that suggests fans will be able to grab free cosmetics based on their game time.
The news comes from a now-deleted blog post which covered what this new “Supply Stream” would be.
Players will reportedly be able to unlock new items by completing tiers, something that might remind gamers of how things are done in Fortnite Battle Royale.

vCard.red is a free platform for creating a mobile-friendly digital business cards. You can easily create a vCard and generate a QR code for it, allowing others to scan and save your contact details instantly.
The platform allows you to display contact information, social media links, services, and products all in one shareable link. Optional features include appointment scheduling, WhatsApp-based storefronts, media galleries, and custom design options.
Items such as uniforms, weapon variants and emotes will be included, suggesting a purely cosmetic range.
All players will have access to the new Supply Stream, although some will have an easier time unlocking stuff.
Those players with a Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 Black Ops Pass will be able to “skip” 10 tiers with every new season.
That means hitting the higher tiers faster than average players who don’t spend extra money.
“The brand-new Supply Stream system now grants you new gear as you progress through tiers,” the Activision leak reads.
“While other players are required to reach each tier organically, Black Ops Pass members can skip 10 tiers per season.
“What’s that mean? In short, you’ll get the chance to own the newest Uniforms, Weapon Variants and Emotes before everybody else.”
It’s unclear when this new feature will be announced, although it seems likely that something will be revealed before the holiday season kicks off.
This could be another feature to help sell Black Ops 4 this year, having already made changes to include Blackout mode.
“Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 is packed with an amazing array, and a massive amount of content across Multiplayer, Zombies and Blackout, and the launch marks just the beginning of an incredible journey ahead,” said Rob Kostich, EVP and GM, Call of Duty.
“When you pick up a Black Ops game, you know you have something you are going to play for a really long time, but Black Ops 4 takes that to an entirely new level.
“The team’s commitment is clear – no matter what kind of player you are, there is a ton of content to be enjoyed, and there is, even more, to come for everyone in the community.
“Black Ops 4 is unlike anything Treyarch has ever created, and we think fans are going to have a blast.”
